Dennis J. Duffy

Dennis J. Duffy, age 56, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, January 10, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on October 2, 1959 in Fond du Lac, the son of Robert and Betty (Moon) Duffy. On August 29, 2015 he married Dawn Gurath in Fond du Lac. Dennis owned Dennis Duffy Construction which was the family business established in 1970. He was a car enthusiast and collector and restored a 1963 Buick Wildcat. Dennis was a former member of the Eagles Aerie #270, he enjoyed golfing, shooting pool, remodeling his home, working in the garage, music, and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. He was a loving husband, father, and loved being a grandfather.

SURVIVORS: his wife Dawn Duffy of Fond du Lac; four children, Denise (Dan Kohnke) Duffy of Fond du Lac, Cara (Zack) Nimmer of Fond du Lac, Brian (Rachelle) Blau of Fond du Lac, Matthew Blau of Fond du Lac; four grandchildren, Skylar, Jaxon, Kaylynn, and Aria; his best friend Jerry (Pam) Hall of Fond du Lac; his siblings, Peggy (Mark) Narloch of OH, Bonnie (Jim) Devroy of Green Bay, Pat (Tina) Duffy of Fond du Lac; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and two loving dogs, Nemo and Shaggy. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 4-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Cremation has taken place.
