Dennis R. Loehr

Dennis R. Loehr, 68, 



passed away December 4 at Hospice Home of Hope surrounded by his family. He was born in Fond du Lac, WI on September 18, 1949 to Robert and Violet Loehr, and was the eldest of three. Denny married Marcy Wimberger on November 25, 1971 and they just celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary. 



Denny was retired from American Family Insurance and served in the US Army Reserve for over 29 years. Denny and Marcy loved spending time with their girls and grandchildren. 



He is survived by his wife, Marcy, his two children Lesley (Brian) Scheibach and Andrea Loehr. “Bapa” is also survived by four grandchildren, Lexi, Tori, Braeden and Natalia. Denny has two sisters, Barb (Butch) Berres and Pam (Ed) Saiberlich. 



His sister-in-laws include Joan McEnroe, Ruth (John) McEnroe, Mary Sadoff, Jeanne Nett and brother-in-laws Jim (Sue) Wimberger and Joe (Jane) Wimberger. Denny is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 



He was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Claude and Gertrude Wimberger; brother-in-laws Dick Sadoff, Frank Nett, Ed McEnroe and nephew Mark McEnroe. 



A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 4:30 PM, Thursday Dec. 7th at Shepherd of the Hills Catholic Church, W1562 County Road B, Eden. Rev. Mark Jones will officiate and a family burial will be Friday in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Eden with military rites by the American Legion Trier Puddy #75. 



Visitation will be Thursday Dec. 7th from 1:30 PM until time of mass at the Church.
