Diane Cecelia Guell

Diane “Dee” Cecelia Guell’s love of life didn’t come to an end with her death. Dee passed away Saturday, March 12th, 2022 at the age of 70, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Dee was born to Irene and John Guell on January 26, 1952 in Fond du Lac, WI. After graduating from high school she pursued college degrees in Child Care Development and Corrections Science. She gave birth to her only beloved son Anthony on October 26th, 1974. Friends and family will attest to the fact that this was her proudest accomplishment, for Tony was the light of her life.

Dee was an avid softball player and shared many competitive innings with those who would become lifelong friends. She also had a passion for “thrifting” and scoring the big deal at every rummage sale in town.

She loved the thrill of a great bargain and adding to her vast collections of memorabilia. Bingo nights with friends also brought her much joy, and at times a very heavy coin purse! She loved all kinds of music and was known to jot down lyrics to her favorite songs.

Dee is preceded in death by her parents, John Guell and Irene (Guell) Bradison, brother Jack Guell, brother-in-law Eddie Brumley, and nephew Gerry John Guell.

She is survived by her son Tony Kulibert and his fiancée Brenda Konrad, sisters Kathy Porter and her husband Scott, and Betty Brumley, brothers Bill Guell and his wife Janet, Dan Guell and his wife Nancy. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, friends, several “adopted” family members, and her beloved dog, Tootsie.

As per her wishes a Celebration of Life gathering will be held for family and friends at a later date.
