Diane M. Rossey

Diane Mae Rossey, 87, of Fond
du Lac, died Friday, September 9, 2016, at Woodlands Senior Park.

 

She was born on June 11,
1929, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Edward W. and Gladys E. Haberkorn Spindler.

 

On May 24, 1958, she married
Hartwell W. Rossey.  He preceded her in death
on September 8, 2000.

 

Diane retired from the Fond
du Lac School System in 1991, after working as a secretary for 28 years at both
Lincoln School and Evans School.  Her
greatest love was spending time with her children and grandchildren over the
summers in her swimming pool.  She
enjoyed traveling and took many trips with family and close friends.  Diane was always ready for a new
adventure.  She became an avid Packer fan
over the last 15 years.

 

Diane was a member of First
Presbyterian Church. 

 

She is survived by three
children:  Linda Kleinbrook and her
husband, James of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, Thomas Yapp and his wife,
Kathy of Oshkosh, and Richard Yapp and his wife, Cherilyn of North Fond du Lac;
eight grandchildren:  Michael (Jodi)
Kleinbrook, Matthew (Sara) Kleinbrook, Benjamin (Heidi) Yapp, Becky Villarreal,
Michelle (Jeff) O’Brien,  Jeremy (Andrea)
Crego, Seth (Emily) Crego, and Lindsey (Josh) Ramirez; 20 great-grandchildren;
and one great-great-grandchild.

 

She was preceded in death by
her parents; her husband, Hartwell Rossey; and a great-granddaughter, Myrrhia
Kleinbrook.

 

The family will greet
relatives and friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at
First Presbyterian Church, 1225 Fourth Street, Fond du Lac.

 

A private family service will
be held at First Presbyterian Church, 1225 Fourth Street, Fond du Lac, with
Rev. Jack Harrison officiating.

 

Inurnment will be in
Ledgeview Memorial Park.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials
may be directed to First Presbyterian Church.
