Dianne Brown

Dianne Brown, 76, of Waupun, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 at UW Hospital in Madison.

Dianne was born September 23, 1942 in Beaver Dam to Doyle and Mildred Johnson McMullin.  On February 10, 1961 she married Richard Brown in Waupun. Following their marriage the couple resided in Waupun all their married lives.  Dick and Dianne served Fond du Lac County as foster parents for many children for many years. Her biggest passion was not only her family but child care both through foster children and in home day care.  She enjoyed sewing for the children and grandchildren and camping with the “Weekend Loafers.”

Dianne is survived by seven children: Carol (Dennis “Ted”) Vander Woude of Waupun, Kathleen (Mark) Norby of Janesville, Daniel (Barb Lang) Brown of Waupun, Kenneth (Jenny) Brown of Brandon, Chantel (Eric) Grimm of Kettlersville, OH, Brenda Cebery of Ripon, and Robert Brown of Campbellsport; 16 grandchildren: Jennifer Meyer, Tamara (Clifford) Kersten, Jesse Vander Woude, Artie (Katie) Garcia, Jeremy (Katie) Vander Woude, Jamie (Cody) Weber, Samantha Norby, Mackenzie Norby, Owen (Ashley) Vande Kolk, Jacob (Dana) Vande Kolk, Mollie (Jesse) Nummerdor, Morgan and Emily Brown, Tasha (Randy) Brueggert, Dillon (Terri) Grimm, and Skyler Grimm; 13 great-grandchildren; an aunt, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick in 2016; and a brother, Randall McMullin.

Memorial services for Dianne Brown will be held Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 6 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Robert Sherwood officiating.  Friends and relatives may call on the family on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of service.
