Dolores M. Dooley

Dolores M. Dooley, age 96, of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin,
passed away peacefully early Saturday morning on January 24, 2015.  “Dee” was born August 2, 1918, to Joseph M.
and Gertrude (Schumacher) Vogds, in Fond
du Lac, Wisconsin.  She loved to sew and her favorite treat was
an ice-cream sundae.  Dee also enjoyed
her car, which she took on many trips to Ripon and Oshkosh. 
Dee worked as a secretary for General
Electric, retiring after many years.  She
was proud of her job.

Dee was preceded in death
by her husband, “Pat” Dooley, her parents, a sister Catherine, two brothers
Joseph and Ambrose, one sister-in-law Jean Vogds and one niece Peggy Steele.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law June Vogds, Oshkosh and
Carol Vogds, Fond du Lac; two nieces Kris (Jim) Berger and Debbie (Jack)
Reichenberger;  and seven nephews Gary
(Darlene) Vogds, Sacramento, CA, Jim (Karen) Vogds, Fond du Lac, Brian Vogds,
Fond du Lac, John Vogds, Florida, Steve (Yvonne) Steele of Minnesota, Gordy
(Debbie) Steele, Appleton and Sterling Steele of Ripon.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Woodlands
and Fond du Lac Lutheran Home for the care Dolores received.  Also sincere thanks to Agnesian Hospice Hope
of Fond du Lac for keeping Dee comfortable in
her final days.  Per Dee’s
request, there was no funeral.  Cremation
has taken place.
