A Mass of Christian Burial for Doris Rose Bowen, 91, of Campbellsport, will be held on Friday Aug. 8th at 1:30 PM at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 406 E. Main St. Campbellsport. Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and entombment will follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac.
Visitation will be Friday Aug. 8th from 11:30 AM until time of mass at the church.
Mrs. Bowen died peacefully Sunday Aug. 3, 2014 at her home with loved ones by her side.
She was born Oct. 29, 1922 in West Bend, a daughter of Frank and Catherine Reuter. On July 27, 1942, Doris married Lyle E. Bowen at Holy Angels Church in West Bend. Lyle preceded her in death on March 31, 1995.
Mrs. Bowen enjoyed cooking for many years at the Fin-n-Feather. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church and the Bintzler Waehler American Legion Post #347 Auxiliary for many years.
She is survived by her sons, her daughter-in-laws, her sister-in-law, her grandchildren, her great and great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
