Dorothy R. Reitz

Dorothy
Rosetta Reitz, daughter of Henry and Rosetta (Shaw) Brown; passed away on
November 28, 2017 at Hospice Home of Hope surrounded by her family.  Dorothy was born on December 5, 1923 in Preble,
WI.  After her marriage to Earl Reitz on
February 21, 1943, they resided in the town of Forest. 


Dorothy
enjoyed bowling, playing cards, going to the casino and playing dice with her
grandsons. She loved the Brewers, Nascar and listening to Saturday morning
polkas with Jerry Schneider.


Dorothy is survived
by her children Joyce (Mike-deceased) Pittler and her children, Dawn (John) Smet,
Michael, and JoAnn (Jim), Shirley (Keith) Krueger and their children, Christine
(Jeff) Smit, Stephen and Joseph (Joann), Gene (Charlene) Reitz and their
children, Shelly (Frank) Lovejoy, Tina (Martin) Rich, Becky (Terry) Wojahn,
Martin (Nikki), and Kristy (Craig) Bohn, Sandy (deceased) Reitz, Roger (Carol)
Reitz and their children, Tonia (Todd) Miske and Robert (Natalie), Linda (Lyndon)
Taylor, Mary (deceased) (Don) Charneski (Nan) and their children, Jason
(Kristin), Stephanie (Randy) Swan, Laura (Matt) Schultz and Nicholas (Carrie),
Nancy (Mark) Fields and their children, Sherry (Rick) Burns, Matthew (Darcy),
Ashley (Randy) Geasland and Whitney (Jeff) Evans, Terry Reitz and his children,
Jeremy (Katie) and Curtis, William (Linda) Reitz and their children, Nathan
(Ashley) and Joshua, John (Sarah-deceased) Reitz and his son, Kevin, Bonnie
(Jeffrey) Hodgden and their children, Courtney (Chris), Kendell (Ryan) Rashid and
Hunter; 53 great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren and one
expected in June. She is further survived by brothers Henry (Jane) Brown,
Orville Brown, Franklin Brown and Fred (Bonnie) Brown and one sister, Lois
(Victor) Jewson.


She was
preceded in death by her husband, Earl in 2015, two daughters, Sandra Reitz and
Mary Charneski, one daughter-in-law, Sarah Flowers, one son-in-law, Mike
Pittler, two grandsons, her parents, and brothers Donald and Rueben Brown.


Visitation: Family
will welcome relatives and friends on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Zacherl
Funeral Home, 875 East Division St, Fond du Lac, from 3:00 to 6:45 PM.


Service: A
memorial service will take place following visitation at the funeral home on
Tuesday at 7:00 PM.   A private burial is scheduled in Forest
Cemetery. 


In lieu of
flowers, memorials given to the family will be used for a donation to Hospice
Home of Hope.
