Dorothy Schultz
Dorothy Schultz, 88, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at Grancare Nursing Center. She was born July 14, 1924, in Richwood, WI, the daughter of Jacob and Caroline Auch Pieffle. On July 3, 1943, she married Melvin W. Schultz at the Church of Peace United Church of Christ. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1971. Dorothy was employed for 52 years as a housekeeper for the Nemschoff family of Fond du Lac.
She is survived by a sister, Caroline K. Hubatch of Shawano, a granddaughter, Karen Abitz of Fond du Lac, many nieces and nephews including Debra (Michael) Bauer of Hartford, WI, Dawn (Dan) Dowske of Franklin, WI, Donald (Mary) Bender of Hartford, WI, Geraldine (Glen) Kurth of Marhfield, WI, and Kathleen Krug of Lomira. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Eugene, four brothers, and eight sisters.
Visitation for Dorothy Schultz will be on Sunday, October 7, 2012, from 4 to 7 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and again on Monday, October 8th, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 11 AM at the funeral home on Monday. Rev. Gerald Schrankler will officiate and burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
