Dorothy Vroman

Dorothy Vroman,
88, of Barron, WI, formerly of Waupun, died Sunday evening, December 29, 2013
at Barron Care and Rehabilitation.

Dorothy was born
November 29, 1925 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Martin and Bessie Smith Bal.
Dorothy attended Waupun schools and was a graduate of Waupun High School. On
July 2, 1949 she married Franklin Vroman in Waupun where they resided all their
married lives. Dorothy was a member of Union-Congregational Church in Waupun
where she was active on various committees and boards. In 2010 Dorothy moved to
Barron where she lived with her son, Kevin and his wife, Connie.

Dorothy is
survived by three sons, Daniel (Kathy) Vroman of Tomah, Gary Vroman of Stevens
Point, and Kevin (Connie) Vroman of Barron; six grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; one step-grandchild; one
great-step-grandchild; and a sister, Barbara Olp of Madison.

Dorothy was
preceded in death by her husband, Frank Vroman in 1999.

Funeral services
for Dorothy Vroman will be held Monday, January 6, 2014 at 1 p.m. at
Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun. Burial will follow at Forest Mound
Cemetery in Waupun. Friends and relatives may call on the family on Monday at
the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
