Douglas E. Vossekuil

Douglas Edward Vossekuil, 55, of Fond du Lac passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Feb. 4, 2017 at his home. He was born May 27, 1961 in Milwaukee, the son of the late Edward R. And Edith E. (Feavel) Vossekuil.

Doug had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh.

He also enjoyed hunting and fishing; he loved animals especially dogs and was a great cook.

Doug had a very lovable spirit and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his fiancee Dawn Palkovich, his sons Josh Stueber (fiancee Jen Miller) and their daughter Scarlett, and Trent Vossekuil, his brother Randal (Jenny) Vossekuil and their children Edward Vossekuil, Ashley Vossekuil and Billy Ramos, his sister Donna Huhndorf and her children Brenda Kumbier and Frank Szymczak, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, Feb. 10th at 12:00 Noon at Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church, 460 Cedar St. Fond du Lac. Pastor Will Kennedy will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of services at the church with a reception at the American Legion Hall (500 Fond du Lac Ave.) to follow.
