Duwayne L. Verch

DuWayne Leonard Verch, 71, of Fond du Lac entered eternal life on Monday, August 28, 2017. 



He was born on March 6, 1946 at Ripon Hospital, the son of Leonard and Phyllis (Wicks) Verch. 



He was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Princeton. 



He graduated from Princeton High School in 1964. 



He earned a degree in education from UW-O and taught junior high for 35 years at Campbellsport Public School. 



He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. 



Retirement provided time for DuWayne to travel extensively with his wife, Beverly along with spending winter months in Fort Lauderdale, FL. 



He filled his time pursuing golf, bow and gun deer hunting, boating and fishing, playing sheepshead and cribbage, gathering and cracking hickory nuts, watching Packers, Badgers, Brewers and Bucks and precious time with his grandchildren. 



He is survived and will be missed by his loving wife Beverly, son Duwayne Jr. (Mary) and beloved granddaughter Maya; son Jeffry and grandsons Jackson and Jayden; his sister Donna (Wayne) Drews, his brother Leonard Jr. (Karline), special aunt and uncle Priscilla and Arlan Ferch, sisters-in-law Susan Williams, Christine Sterr and brother-in-law Phillip (Margaret) Sterr, along with numerous nieces and nephews, many other relatives and wonderful friends. 



Duwayne was preceded in death by his parents and sister Darlene Davis. 



A Private Family Memorial Services will be held.
