DuWayne Vilas Senn

DuWayne
Vilas Senn, 89, a resident of Fond du Lac, passed away, with his family at his
side, on February 11, 2015 at the Hospice Home of Hope.

He was born
January 6, 1926 in Fond du Lac, a son of the late Irving Senn and Sadie Patzer.

On January
4, 1964 he married Maureen Joan Hughes at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.

DuWayne was
a graduate of Fond du Lac Senior High School class of 1944. He was employed as
a bookkeeper for Valley Beer and later worked as a bookkeeper, salesman and
driver for Lee Beverage, retiring in 1987. DuWayne enjoyed traveling with
Maureen, golfing, following the Brewers, having traveled to spring training
several times, Badgers, and the Packers. He enjoyed the time he spent playing
cards, and attending Buttermilk Park Concerts with his friends. He looked
forward to his weekly outings to Friar Tucks with his good friend Jerry, and he
was an active member of NAIM.

Survivors
include his loving daughter, Susan (Michael) Gantner of Fond du Lac, other
relatives and many friends.

He was preceded
in death by his parents, his wife Maureen in 1994, his father-in-law and
mother-in-law, Ben and Ebba Hughes, and his special friend Blanche Kuhnz.

Visitation: Visitation will be held on Sunday,
February 15, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E.
Division St. Fond du Lac.

Services: Per DuWayne’s request, private
family services will be held Monday and entombment will be in the Chapel of the
Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials in
his name may be directed to the Hospice Home of Hope.
