Edward L. Dahlinger

Edward L. Dahlinger, 80, of Campbellsport went home to his Lord on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at his home with his beloved family gathered around him. He was born on March 12, 1936 in Nisland, SD, the son of Henry and Otelia (Achtzinger) Dahlinger, Sr. On August 14, 1954, Ed married Donna Bastian at St. John’s Lutheran Church in West Bend. Ed ran a dairy farm in the Town of Eden and worked construction. Later he drove truck for 23 years and operated a whitetail deer farm. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Campbellsport, the Red and White Holstein Assoc. and Whitetails of Wisconsin. Ed enjoyed fishing, hunting and working in his shop making things but most important he loved his family very much. 



Survivors include his wife Donna, children Victoria (Joseph) Tonn, Linda (Jeffrey) Dietenberger and Mark (Michele) Dahlinger, son-in-law Douglas Bloch, grandchildren Jarrod (Angela) Tonn, Alisa (Michael) Birschbach, Christine (Don) Kerchefski, Eric (Lynn) Bloch, Nicholas Bloch, Andrew (Colleen) Dahlinger, Jacob (Julianna) Dahlinger and Elizabeth Dahlinger (special friend Mike Christianson), great grandchildren Amelia, Adelaide, Brynn, Logan, Macy, McKenzie and Olivya, brother Harold Dahlinger, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Kathleen Dahlinger, Curtis and Janet Bastian, Marilyn Wiesner, Kenneth and Bernice Bastian and Gloria Monday, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 



Ed was preceded in death by his parents, brother Henry, Jr., in-laws Harvey and Erna Bastian, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Harvey and Suzanne Bastian, Jr., Marvin Wiesner, Lois Bastian and Donald Monday. 



Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 4th at 2:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 350 S. Helena St. Campbellsport. Rev. Paul Cerny will officiate and burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Campbellsport. 



Visitation will be Saturday, March 4th from 11:00 AM until time of services at Immanuel Lutheran Church. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to Heartland Hospice or Immanuel Lutheran Church.
