Eleanor M. Blatz

Eleanor M.
Blatz, 91, passed away on September 26, 2019. She was born on June 30, 1928 in
Chicago, IL to the late Raoul and Margaret Tremblay.

She
graduated from St. Louis Academy in Chicago and attended Furman University in
Greensville, SC where she met her future husband.

Eleanor
married Edward L. Blatz in Chicago on October 7, 1950. The couple moved to the
FDL area in 1953.

Eleanor was
employed by Fond du Lac County for 28 years and retired proudly as a Deputy
Veterans Service Officer, serving many worthy veterans of the county. She was a
member of Holy Family Catholic Community.

Eleanor is
survived by her beloved children: three sons, Charles (Susan), Alan (Monica)
and Wayne (Nadine); one daughter, Judith (Paul) Olson; eight grandchildren,
Keli Blatz, Maureen Poch, Kathryn (Robb) Duveneck, Issac (Nicole) Olson,
Rebecca (Eric) Mathe, Jared (Jennifer) Blatz, Alexa Blatz and Heidi Olson; nine
great grandchildren; one brother, Hubert Tremblay of Huntley, IL; other
relatives and friends.

She was
preceded in death by her husband, Edward; her parents and brother, Col. Roy
Tremblay.

A private
funeral service has been requested and Entombment will be in the Chapel of the
Risen Christ, Calvary Mausoleum.
