Enola C. Lepianka

Enola C. Lepianka (née Yoap), 94, of Fond du Lac, died on April 22, 2021. She was born on December 26, 1926, to Henry and Clara Yoap (née May) in Grover, Marinette County, Wisconsin.

She married Tony Lepianka on August 30, 1947, in Peshtigo, Wisconsin. They relocated to Milwaukee where Enola attended cosmetology school and briefly worked at their family restaurant. Later she and Tony moved back to northern Wisconsin to farm. They were married for nearly fifty happy years before Tony’s untimely death in 1997, at which time Enola moved to Fond du Lac to be closer to her daughter and granddaughter.

Enola created a warm and inviting home that she filled with flowers that she grew. Her appreciation for homemade things included her love of baking, decorating, growing, and canning food. Always one to put her best foot forward, she took pride in dressing her finest, styling her hair, and doing her makeup. She had a soft spot for dogs, especially her grandpuppy, Smokey.

Enola is survived by her daughter Darlene (Aaron) Zulauf of Fond du Lac, granddaughter Alexandra (Joe) Kempf of Madison, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tony, son Ricky, siblings, nieces, and nephews.

Enola’s family extends special thanks to the staff of Agnesian Hospice and Grancare.
