Eric Daniel Luna

Eric Daniel Luna entered eternal life peacefully on May 16, 2022, at his home at the tender age of 36.

Eric was born in Fond du Lac on January 4, 1986. From the moment he was born he was the center of attention and quickly showed an ability to make people laugh through his carefree approach to life. He loved just being a kid, and carried that creativity and innocence with him into his adult life. He developed an early love for the outdoors and swimming from camping trips with his family at Deep Lake. He loved video games (classics only please!), hiking and camping, reading, going to the movies, Legos, board games, and most of all hanging out with family and friends.

Eric had a special ability to connect with people. He was a kind and gentle soul who took his greatest joys from the friendships that he formed, many of which became lifelong. He always gave the biggest hugs, the kind that made you feel so deeply loved. For Eric, once you became his friend, you became a part of his family.

Eric’s charismatic, fun-loving personality lives on through his parents Max and Eileen (Retzleff) Luna; the loving brother of Max (Shannon) Luna, Julia (Brandon Kobs) Luna, and Lorena (Steve Gilbert) Luna; caring half-brother to Jay Luna and Tera Feiereisen; thoughtful and fun-loving uncle to Madelyn and Sophia Luna; devoted grandson to Mary Retzleff; and a kind and loyal friend to many other relatives and friends.

Preceding him in death are his grandparents Roger Retzleff, and Maximino and Antonia Luna.

Visitation: The family will receive relatives and friends at the Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E.

Division St., Fond du Lac on Saturday, May 21, 2022 starting at 12:00 PM with service at 3:00 PM.
