Eric M. Seibel
Eric M. Seibel, 30, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022. He was born on August 13, 1991 in Fond du Lac, a son of Bob Seibel and Holly Ernst Seibel. On September 1, 2019, Eric married Tracey Lynn Smith in Fond du Lac.
Eric was a graduate of Campbellsport High School and Moraine Park Technical College with a degree in Engineering Design. He was part of the Project Grill in high school, was an Eagle Scout and ran track for one year. Eric worked as a CAD Designer at Wells Manufacturing. He helped maintain and cut grass at St. John’s Cemetery. Eric loved being outdoors, enjoying camping, biking, hiking, canoeing, and winter sports. He was always helping people and was very creative in making things. Eric also enjoyed K’Nex, HO trains, geocaching and disc golf.
Eric is survived by his wife Tracey, father Bob (fiancée Julie Andrew), mother Holly (fiancé Mike Vandenheuvel) Seibel, brother James (Karrie) Seibel, grandmother Catherine Ernst, father-in-law Carl (Marcine) Smith, mother-in-law Jeffrey Smith, other relatives and friends.
Eric was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Milton and Laura Seibel and maternal grandfather Martin Ernst.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 5th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, 305 Fond du Lac Ave. Fond du Lac and Friday, May 6th from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
A memorial service will be Friday, May 6th at 2:00 PM at the Twohig Funeral Home, Fond du Lac with Rev. Mark Barenz officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date.
