Evangeline M. Schaefer

Evangeline M. Schaefer, 96, of Campbellsport passed away on the 10th of May, 2017 at her daughter’s home. She was born in Slinger on December 21, 1920, the daughter of Oscar & Katherine Guttenberg Hetzel. 



She married Sylvester Schaefer on September 25, 1943 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Slinger. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church and enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafts and baking. 



Those left behind to cherish Evangeline’s memory include her daughters: 



Katherine (Lawrence) Holl of Princeton , Pat (Curtis) Hanson of Brightwood, VA, Diane (Bruce Solchenberger) Schad of Fond du Lac, her grandsons Gregory Holl, Paul Schad and David Schad, 4 great grandchildren, her brother Oscar Hetzel, her sister Marie Spaeth, 



other relatives and friends. 



She was preceded death by her parents, her husband Sylvester July 13, 1997, her sons Edward and John, her grandson Steven Holl and a number of siblings. 



A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 16th at 7:00 PM at St. Mathews Catholic Church, 406 E. Main St. Campbellsport. 



Rev. Mark Jones will officiate and family burial will be Wednesday at St. John of God Cemetery, Boltonville. 



Visitation will be Tuesday, May 16th from 5:00 PM until time of Mass at the church.
