Franklin H. “Frank” Seurer

Franklin H.
“Frank” Seurer, age 82, passed away at his home on Thursday, June 4, 2015,
surrounded by his loving family.  He was
born in Fond du Lac, WI to John and Margaret (Mueller) Seurer on December 18,
1932.

He met his
first wife, Audrey Hansen, while home on leave from the Air Force in 1954.  Frank and Audrey were married on July 2, 1955
at St. Joseph’s Church in Fond du Lac. 
Audrey passed away in 2001.  Frank
worked for Giddings and Lewis for 19 years before being employed at Los Alamos
National Laboratory in 1969.  Frank
married Beverly Fredericks on July 14, 2002. 

Frank was an
active member of Holy Family Parish during all of his time in Wisconsin.  His Catholic roots were extremely important
to him.  Frank was very proud of his
volunteer work as a grandfather mentor in Fond du Lac with the 4th
grade class.  He was also a Boy Scout
troop leader for many years, both in Wisconsin and in New Mexico.  Frank was a Star Trek fan and volunteered at
the UFO Museum in Roswell, New Mexico. 
He was an avid Packer fan and loved fly fishing and any outdoor
activity.  He was a gentle leader and a
strong man who spread sunshine everywhere he went. 

Frank is
survived by his wife, Beverly, his three sons, Dan (Mary), Tony and Mike
(Michelle), two step-sons, four grandchildren, one very special nephew, Mark
(Sandy) Barber, and other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his first wife,
Audrey.

Services:  A graveside memorial service will be
celebrated on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Calvary Cemetery at 10:00 AM.  Cremation has taken place.
