Gail L. Wanta
Gail L. Wanta, 73, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at her home with family and Pastor Tom and his wife Gail.
She was born January 18, 1940 in New Berlin, WI a daughter to the late Allie and Ruth Fischer Rea.
On March 30th, 1957 she married James R. Wanta in Milwaukee.
Gail was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her four sons, Scott Wanta of Waupaca, WI, Dale Wanta of Fond du Lac, Gary Wanta of Stevens Point, WI and Roy (Teri) Wanta of Sussex, WI; one daughter, Penny (Bill) Ballering of West Allis, WI; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren. She is further survived by one brother Charles Rea, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends and a dear family friend, Ric Cummings.
She was preceded in death by her husband James and one son, James Wanta Jr.
Visitation: Family will receive relatives and friends at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division St., on Friday March 15, 2013 from 4:00 to 6:45 pm.
Services: Funeral services will be held Friday March 15th, 7:00 PM at the Zacherl Funeral Home. Rev. Thomas Gaudet will officiate. Private family burial will be in the Highland Memorial Park, New Berlin.
Family would like to thank Agnesian Hospice Hope for their kind and compassionate care given to mom. They would also like to thank those who provided care for Gail at home.
