Gary A. Duitman

Gary Alan Duitman, 65, of Fond du Lac, died on Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Hospice Home of Hope.

He was born on December 18, 1952, in Fond du Lac, the son of the late Jerald W. and Edna V. (Talley) Duitman. He graduated from L.P. Goodrich High School. Gary and his brother, Doug, owned and operated Duitman Plumbing.

He was a past member of Elks Lodge #57, a volunteer fireman with the Town of Fond du Lac Fire Department, a charter member of Fondy Vintage Auto Club, a member of Local 400 of Plumbing and Steamfitters Union and served his country in the National Guard for six years. He was an antique and car collector.

Survivors include a sister, Judy M. (Thomas) Wisniewski of Crown Point, Indiana; a brother, Doug (Judie) Duitman of Fond du Lac; two nieces, Dawn (William) Buckley of Dyer, Indiana and Wendy (Jeffrey) Kaye of Darien, Illinois; two grandnieces, Addison and Cayla Buckley, a grandnephew, Tyler Kaye, other relatives and friends.

VISITATION: Friends may call on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac.

FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel and burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m.
