Glenn F. Redman

Glenn F. Redman, 87, of Fond du
Lac, died Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Aurora Medical Center in
Oshkosh.  He was born May 8, 1929 in Ripon,
the son of Frederick and Frieda Kloehn Redman. 
On October 20, 1951 he married Elizabeth “Betty” Klein at Presentation
Church in North Fond du Lac.  He served
in the National Guard from 1946 – 1955. 
Glenn worked for the Soo Line Railroad and Wisconsin Central as the
Director of Materials for 38 years, retiring in 1989.  He was a charter member of Sacred Heart
Church.  Glenn enjoyed trains, golfing,
camping, polka music and the Green Bay Packers.

 

He is survived by his wife,
Betty; two children, Sandra (Arron) Starks and Randall Redman, all of Fond du
Lac; brothers and sisters-in-law, Eugene (Joanne) Klein of Van Dyne, Lawrence
Klein of Fond du Lac, Mary (Richard) Johnson of Fond du Lac, Ronald (Betty)
Klein of North Fond du Lac, and Judy (Lloyd) Hawes of Muskego; nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends.  He was
preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Russell; one sister, Marlene
Ellefson; sisters-in-law, Dorothy (Clarence) Keller, Patricia Klein, and LaDonna
Klein.

 

The visitation will be held from
9:00 – 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Sacred Heart Church, Holy
Family Parish.  The Mass of Christian
Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Sacred Heart
Church.  Cremation has taken place and
burial will be held in Estabrooks Cemetery at a later date.
