Gregory Kemeny

Gregory “Glacier” Kemeny, 73, walked into the light of Heaven on March 12, 2022, at Marquardt Nursing Home in Watertown.

Glacier was born on December 29, 1948, in Milwaukee, the son of the late Joseph and Margaret (nee Poliak) Kemeny. He graduated from Boys Tech Highschool in Milwaukee in 1967. From there he attended University of New Mexico Albuquerque and finished his education at Marquette University obtaining a Liberal Arts Degree. Greg proudly owned Glacier Pump in the Kettle Moraine Area.

Glacier leaves behind his favorite and only sister, Linda (nee Kemeny) and his brother-in-law, John July and many friends and family members.

In addition to Glacier’s parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Glenn Kemeny.

Glacier’s family will greet relatives and friends at Mother of Good Counsel, 6924 West Lisbon Avenue, in Milwaukee on Saturday, March 26, 2022, from Noon until 1:00 p.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial. Light reception to follow.

An additional service will be held at Twohig Funeral Home, 109 W. Main Street, in Campbellsport, on Friday, April 1, 2022. His family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a service to be held at 5:45 p.m. Light reception to follow.
