Haden J. Nimmer

Haden J. Nimmer, 24, of Fond
du Lac, died Saturday, May 31, 2014, at St. Agnes Hospital, following a
lifelong battle with cystic fibrosis.

He was born on February 2,
1990, in Fond du Lac, a son of Todd R. and Michaele A. Norenberg Nimmer.

On October 2, 2011, he
married Amanda Smith.   Haden recently wrote,
“Metaphors and imagery were used in my vows when Amanda and I married.  I spoke of my condition that had tried to
drown me for my entire life.  How we had
seen our share of rough waters and weathered our storms and how I would always
be her anchor, her rock, her hard place, no matter the crushing depths and
pressures of the tumultuous seas of life.
I’d do that, gladly, drown beneath those waves, because she was the
first thing in my life I was happy to have take my breath away.”

He is survived by his wife,
Amanda; his parents, Todd and Michaele Nimmer; a sister, Valerie (Kevin)
Birschbach and their children:  Brendan
and Aaron Birschbach; two brothers:
Zachariah (fiancée Cara Duffy) Nimmer and Randolph Nimmer; two
brothers-in-law:  Ronald Smith and Damon
Smith; two sisters-in-law:  Erin
Schneider and her children:  Keygan,
Breckin, Monti, and Amerakiss; Nicole Murphy; his father-in-law, Thomas Smith;
grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his dog, Donna.

He was preceded in death by his
mother-in-law, Teresa Vaughn, and maternal grandparents.

A celebration of Haden’s life
will be held in the backyard of his parent’s home, where he loved to spend time
while growing up, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2014.  Please join us in honoring this inspiring,
