Helen E. Laudolff

Helen E. Laudolff, 95, formerly of N9179 Hwy 151, Fond du Lac passed away Friday April 19, 2013 at the Villa Loretto Nursing Home where she had been a resident since June 1, 2012.

She was born January 24, 1918 in Silica, WI a daughter of the late Hugo and Theresa Schmitz Wagner.

On June 29, 1938 Helen married Theodore Laudolff at St. Peter Catholic Church in St. Peter. He preceded her in death on November 17, 1967.

Helen farmed with her husband until the time of his death.  She also did housekeeping.  She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and the Pipe Senior Citizens.  She enjoyed playing cards and being outside working in her yard, gardening and tending to her cats.

Survivors include her son Melvin (Kathy) Laudolff of Slinger; her daughter Carole (Allen) Smasal of Kiel; five grandchildren: John (Sej) Laudolff and Tracy Laudolff both of Slinger, Eric (Sarah) Smasal of Jackson, Todd (Breyn) Smasal of Appleton and Paula Smasal of Port Washington; six great-grandchildren: Kea and Nani Laudolff, Ethan, Drew, Maddy, and Alayna Smasal; her sister Lydia Schneider of St. Peter; two sisters-in-law: Lillian (Bruno) Kraus of St. Peter and Margaret Wagner of Marytown; her brother-in-law William Stubbe of Fond du Lac; also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Helen is preceded in death by five sisters: Rita (Orlando) Schneider, Thelma (Kenneth) Ressman, Evelyn (Harold) Milner, Irma (Eldon) Stubbe and Stella Stubbe; two brothers: Elmer and Paul Wagner; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Sylvester Schneider, William J. (Elsie) Laudolff, Herman (Lavina) Laudolff, Mike (Mary) Laudolff and Regina (Herman) Nett; also by special friends John Schubigger and Ray Rieder.

Visitation:  Family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday April 23, 2013 from 10:00 am to 11:45 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, N9288 Cty W, Johnsburg.

Service:  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday April 23 at 12:00 Noon at St. John the Baptist Church.  Rev. Joseph Coerber will concelebrate.  Burial will be in the church cemetery at a later date.
