Helen Seibel

Helen “Jean” Seibel, 92, of Adelaide’s
Place, Fond du Lac, was welcomed into her Savior’s loving arms on Sunday, April
30, 2017.

 

She was born on August 18,
1924, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Frank and Catherine Rank Rozek.

 

On November 10, 1943, she
married Carlton G. Seibel at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church.  He preceded her in death on February 26,
1999.

 

Jean was a longtime member of
St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church, and a past member of the Gleaners.  She worked as a noon day cook at the Colony
Supper Club from 1959-1974.  She was an
avid sports fan, enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting, canning, cooking,
baking, and loved ice cream.

 

She is survived by five
children:  Kathleen Seibel (friend, Kathy
Kempf) of Fond du Lac, George (Betty) Seibel of St. Cloud, Nancy (Ken) Laning
of Green Bay, Carl (Shantell) Seibel of Wautoma, and Joanne (Craig) Jerabek of
Fond du Lac; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; a half-brother, Marty
Arpin of El Paso, Texas, and a half-sister, Carol Downing of Minnesota.

 

She was preceded in death by
her parents; her husband, Carlton; two sisters: 
Josephine Hodorff and Virginia Renderman; and a brother, Edwin Rozek.

 

VISITATION:  The visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00
a.m. on Friday, May 5, 2017, at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 1600 South
Main Street, Fond du Lac.

 

SERVICE:  The funeral service will be held at 11:00
a.m. on Friday at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael J.
Zuberbier officiating.

 

Burial will be in Forest
Cemetery.
