Henrietta E. Mueller

Henrietta E. Mueller, 96, died on March 17, 2014, a resident of the St. Francis Home this past two years. Prior to that, she enjoyed living at St. Claire Terrace with friends and activities.

She was born August 23, 1917 at the home of her parents, Henry and Petronella Hilbert Hefter, in Byron WI.

On May 21, 1938 she married Kenneth Roblee at St. John’s Catholic Church, Byron.

 Their six children were raised as the pride and joy of her life. She was a 4-H leader, a member of the Byron’s Women’s Club, Daughters of Isabella and an active member of the choir at the St. Francis Home. She loved music, playing the organ, sewing, gardening, playing cards and family activities. On August 31, 1985, she married Armand Mueller. For several years they enjoyed wintering in Florida.

Survivors include three daughters, Lorna (Tom) Friess, of Fond du Lac, Barbara (Pat) Murray of Lake Tomahawk, and Mary Roblee of Cedar Hill, TX, a daughter-in-law, Nancy Roblee of Fond du Lac, ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She is further survived by three sisters, Mary (Fred) Bleck, of TX, Ann (John) Seastrand, of Greendale, WI, and Evelyn (Lee) LaVallee of CA, many nieces, nephews, her step-children, Ken (Sue) Mueller of Marytown, Jim and Dave Mueller of St. Cloud, and John (Barb) Mueller of Madison, seven step-grandchildren and seven step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by both husbands, two sons, Truman and Joseph Roblee, a daughter, Ellen Roblee, a granddaughter, five brothers, three sisters and a step-daughter-in-law.

Visitation: Visitation will be held on Friday March 21, 2014, from 1:00 to 2:45 PM at the St. Francis Home Chapel, 33 Everett Street, Fond du Lac.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, 3:00 PM at the St. Francis Home Chapel. The Fr. Adrian Staehler O.F.M. Cap. will officiate. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials in her name may be directed to the St. Mary’s Springs Academy or the St. Francis Home Employee Fund.
