Imogene “Jeanie” S. Morgan

Imogene “Jeanie” S. Morgan, 82, of Chilton, died on May 5, 2018, at her home in Chilton. She was born January 15, 1936, son of Earl and Sophia (Lang) Bonsack. In July of 1955, she married Wally Morgan in Milwaukee and together they had two sons.

Originally from Sparta, Jeanie and Wally moved to Milwaukee in the mid-50’s and lived there until their retirements. Jeanie worked most of her life as an engraver for trophies, medals, and other awards. During their working years, her and Wally bought a house on Lake Winnebago and would spend weekends there. Shortly after they both finished working they moved up to the Chilton area. Jeanie worked at the Calumet County Campground for several years during her retirement. Her Wisconsin roots ran deep: she was a die-hard Brewers fan, loved the Packers, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Jeanie is survived by her two sons: Jeff (Debbie) and Greg (Laura); her grandchildren: Joey, Spencer, and Maxwell; her sisters: Patricia Morgan and Ada Lynn; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Jeanie was preceded in death by her husband, Wally; her parents: Earl and Sophia Bonsack; and her brothers-in-law: Donald Morgan and Red Lynn.

Services are set for 2:00pm on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at the Wieting Family Funeral Home. Friends may call from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the funeral home on the day of the service.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Calumet County Hospice Program in her name would greatly be appreciated.
