James Arthur Searvogel

James Arthur Searvogel, 75, of Sheridan, AR, formerly of Waupun, died at his home on Thursday, January 14, 2016.

Jim was born March 24, 1940 in Pickett, WI the son of Arthur and Margaret Ryan Searvogel.  Jim was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Sheridan.  He was a retired heavy equipment operator.  He enjoyed carpentry, golf, and water aerobics.

Jim is survived by his wife, Beverly Searvogel of Sheridan, AR, formerly of Waupun; sons: Kurt Searvogel of Little Rock, AR, Clifford (Pam) Schoenick, Jr. of Berlin, Steven Schoenick of Waupun, and Mark Schoenick of Waupun; daughters: Nancy (Andrew) Delzer of West Bend, Cheryl (David) Mulder of Fond du Lac, and Lisa (Neal) Cooper of Kodiak, AK; sister-in-law, Beverly Searvogel of Oshkosh; brother, Robert (Sharleene) Searvogel of Beaver Dam; sisters: Mabel Hafenstein of Fox Lake, Jean (Wayne) Bahr of Fall River, and Barbara (James) Harrigan of Beaver Dam; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends;

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kevin Searvogel; sisters: Isabelle Neuman and Joan Miller; and grandson, Josh Searvogel.

A funeral mass with be held Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waupun with Fr. Michael Wild officiating.  Friends and relatives may call on the family on Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
