James H. Morgan

James “Jim” H. Morgan, 73, of
Chilton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 19, 2018.

 

He was born on January 20,
1944, in Moultrie, Georgia, the son of Katie Dittel.  He was a U.S. Veteran, serving in the Air
Force and the National Guard from 1963-1967. 
On July 12, 1997 he married, Linda (Broman) Bergmann, in Crivitz,
Wisconsin.

 

Jim worked at various jobs in
the sheet metal field.  He was the owner
of Morgan Sheet Metal and Tower Mechanical Services.  He loved golf, fishing, coaching softball and
baseball.  He enjoyed working in his yard
and loved his good dog, Buddy.  Jim always
was one who enjoyed making people laugh and sharing stories.

 

He is survived by his wife,
Linda Morgan of Chilton; his daughter Jennifer (Mark) Morgan Hawley and their
children Alexandra and Zachariah Hawley; his Granddaughters Karli and Kori
Hinkley, his step-sons, Phil (Monica) Bergmann and their daughter Emma Bergman
and Mike (Racheal) Bergmann and their children Katie and Collette Pluim.  He is further survived by his brothers and
sisters: Carolyn Hall, Patti Dittel Hodge, Diane Dittel (Steven) Vandekolk,
Donna Dittel (Joe) Duffy, Peter (Vivian) Dittel, Alice Dittel Zodrow, Judy
Dittel (Lyle) Hari, Eva Dittel (Ron) Jonah, and Bill (Lois) Dittel; his brother
and sister-in-laws: Barbara (Richard) Burger, Joseph (Maureen) Broman, Nancy
Elliot, and Patti (Jeff) Majestic; and many nieces and nephews.

 

He is preceded in death by
his mother, Katie Dittel; his children: Julie (Morgan) Hinkley and James
(Jamie) Morgan; his granddaughter: Jaclyn Hawley, his brother-in-laws: Keith
Hodge and Michael Zodrow.

 

Cremation has taken place.
