James J. Birschbach

James J. Birschbach, 83, of Malone, received his wish of passing in his own home on Friday, January 21, 2022. He was born to the late Raymond and Eleanor (Weber) Birschbach on November 3, 1938 in the town of Brothertown, WI.

Jim was a graduate of Fond du Lac High School. Jim served in the US Army, US Army Reserve and US Army National Guard in the early 1960s. He was employed with Tecumseh in maintenance from 1965 until his retirement in 1994.

Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed walking and bird watching, and always enjoyed a good game of dice with great friends. He loved to help others whether at the butcher shop, raking hay or anything else he could do for people. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Johnsburg.

Jim is survived by his sister-in-law, Eileen Birschbach; his nieces and nephew, Lori (Doug) Tober-Birschbach, Lana (Rob) Raupp, Patrick (Jill) Birschbach and Lynn Birschbach; 12 grandnieces and grandnephews; and 1 great-grandnephew; and many dear and wonderful friends and relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Eleanor; his brother, Ronald Birschbach and an infant brother.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
