Janet L. Poler

Janet “Jan” L. Poler, 68, of Fond
du Lac, died on Sunday, January 13, 2019, at Froedtert Memorial Hospital.

 

She was born on September 17,
1950, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Marshall and Anna Ogden Bartow.  On April 21, 1984, she married Glenn R.
Poler, in Oshkosh.  She delivered
newspapers for the Action Advertiser, Reporter and Milwaukee Journal
Sentinel. 

 

Jan enjoyed photography,
listening to music watching movies and reading. She loved to write, published
several short stories and wrote a novel. 
She loved her grandbabies very much and spending time with her family.

 

She is survived by her husband,
Glenn Poler of Fond du Lac, four children: Mellisa Gray of Fond du Lac, Daniel
(Missie) Poler of Horicon, Shannon (Jeremy) Wisse of Mt. Calvary and Seth Poler
of Oakfield; eight grandchildren: Zachary (Amy) Gray, Michelle (life partner
Ryan) Gray, Brandon Poler, Damion Poler, Nevada Wisse, Keyen Wisse, Kayleigh
Poler and Ardun Poler; her brother Tom Bartow of North Fond du Lac, and her
sister Michele (Richard) McCoy of Oshkosh.

 

She is preceded in death by her
parents, her son Travis Cartwright, her grandson Sebastian Wisse, her brother
Mike Bartow, her sister Sandy Howen and her sister-in-law Bonnie Bartow.

 

At Jan’s request, a
celebration of her life will be celebrated at a later date.  Cremation has taken place.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials
appreciated to Cancer Research or March of Dimes.
