Jean Leonhardt

Jean
Leonhardt, 85, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 at St. Agnes Hospital
surrounded by her family.

She was born
June 11, 1929 in Fond du Lac a daughter to the late Edward and Alva
Lingenfelter.  She graduated from St.
Mary Springs Academy and then went on to Oshkosh State Teacher’s College.

On May 17,
1952 she married the love of her life Lyle “Luke” Leonhardt and they would
spend the next 62½ years together.  The
most important things in her life were faith, family and friends.

Jean worked
at National Exchange Bank and later at Sears for many years.

Jean was a
long time member of Holy Family, attending St. Joseph’s and Sacred Heart
Church.  She was very proud of her 25
years of volunteer service for Agnesian Healthcare especially her time with the
“Mam Girls”.  Jean enjoyed a good game of
bridge, Packer parties and doing crossword puzzles.

Survivors
include her husband Lyle “Luke” Leonhardt; son Kurt Leonhardt; daughter Karen
(Mike) Fisher and Mike’s children Ray Fisher and Cassie Reisenauer; her niece
Rita Rathbone and many friends.

She was
preceded in death by an infant son Chris and her brother Jack.

Visitation:  Family will receive relatives and friends on
Monday, December 15, 2014 at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division St., from 10:00
to 11:30 am.

Service:  A funeral service will also be held at
Zacherl Funeral Home on Monday at 11:30 am.

In lieu of
flowers, memorials in her name may be directed to the Salvation Army or Sacred
Heart Church, Holy Family Parish.

Hope, Pastoral Care and the 5th floor staff as well as the staff at
Gran Park Terrace and Grancare Nursing Home for the compassionate care given to
our mom and family.
