Jeffrey A. Wilcox

Jeffrey A. “Willy” Wilcox, age 41, of Chilton, died on Friday, November 10, 2017 at his home in Chilton.  He was born May 16, 1976 in Manitowoc, son of Susan (Henrickson) Wilcox and the late Arnold Wilcox.  22 years ago Willy began dating Ann Meyer and the couple married on May 13, 2004 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Rantoul.

Willy possessed a strong work ethic and had worked at Buechel Stone in Chilton for 20 years where he managed to do everything he could to help wherever needed; he was an all around ‘Mr. Fix-It’ both at work and at home.  Recently he had been employed by Manitowoc Crane  and Oshkosh Truck where he also applied his strong work ethic and desire to better those around him.

Willy was a witty, and often times sarcastic person who loved everyone he came in contact with.  He never passed judgement on anyone he met and quickly made friends with those he would encounter through life’s journey.   He was a loving man who cherished deeply time spent with his children.  It brought him great joy to be around them and spend time together in the great outdoors and he never passed up an opportunity to have them in his presence.

Willy thought of himself as a student of politics; he enjoyed listening to talk radio and especially kept himself updated on laws and regulations affecting the second amendment of the Constitution of the United States.

Survivors include his wife: Ann; his children: Warren, Abigail & Wyatt Wilcox; his mother: Susan and her significant other, Donald Fesing; his mother-in-law: Lorraine Meyer; a brother: Arron Wilcox and his special friend Tara Thomes; a sister: Amanda (Mitch) Roeder, a sister-in-law: Jenny (Cory) Levknecht; a brother-in-law: Jeffrey Meyer; nieces and nephews: his Godson Easton Levknecht, Haiden & Kirsten Wilcox, Anden, Izzie & Atley Levknecht; an uncle: William Henrickson; special family member: Lisa Peck; and his longtime best friend: Nate Eldred.  Willy is further survived by cousins, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father: Arnold; and his father-in-law: John Meyer.
