Jerome A. Forester

Jerome A. Forester, 70, of Fond du Lac, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 22, 2021 at his home. He was born on August 5, 1950 to Jerome and Constance (Schmitt) Forester.

Jerome married Jacquelyn Fitzgerald on July 31, 1976 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac.

After Jerry’s high school graduation, Jerry signed up to enter the US Navy. He served his nation for 4 years. Jerry was last stationed in Alaska and he drove back to Fond du Lac in his Jeep. He really loved his time spent in Alaska. Jerry was a welder and worked for various companies. He retired from Oshkosh Truck.

Jerry had only a few hobbies, their names were, Ava and Cason. He loved to help his daughter and son-in-law with their children. These grandchildren were the light in his eyes. He would do anything for these two. His love for them was so great. They will miss grandpa very much. Jerry and Jackie enjoyed trying different foods. They loved to run errands and share their findings. Jerry enjoyed to read his Alaskan Magazine and work on puzzles in his sun porch.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Jackie; his daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Ben Humleker and their children, Ava and Cason; his mother, Constance Forester; his brother, James Forester; his sister, Mary Forester; his sister-in-law, Margie Forester; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome J. Forester; his brother, Robert Forester and sister-in-law, Susan Forester.

Visitation: The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, February 5, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:45 AM at Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way in Fond du Lac. Masks and social distancing will be required.

Service: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 12:00 PM Noon at the Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors. Masks and social distancing will be required.
