Jessica Potter

Jessica Potter, 37, of Fond du Lac, passed away
on April 5th, 2020.  She is the beloved daughter of Mike and Tina Potter
and mother to Alaska and Aurora.

Jessica was in the last graduating class at
Goodrich High School in 2000. She later attended Moraine Park Technical College
for a degree in Health Information Technology and secured training certificates
in first-aid, safety, patient charting, nutrition and dispensing
medications.

She had a natural ability for helping others that
included the elderly, people with disabilities and children. Her jobs included
caregiver, pharmacy technician, Job Coach and store clerk where she enjoyed
helping people understand the benefits of eating healthy food.

Jessica loved spending time with her daughters
who gave her much pride and joy.  Together they enjoyed camping and hiking
at Kiekhaefer Park, and Hobbs Woods where she also went for solitude and
meditation.

Jessica raised her daughters closely with her
friend Josie, and her son Quentin. Together they made many lasting memories.
She will be deeply missed by her school friends known as The One Fiver’s, and
many other friends who loved her.

She loved all music genres and attended many
concerts which included her favorite band, the Flogging Molly’s. She loved
reading books on homeopathy, mindfulness, meditation and spirituality. She had
a deep passion for animals and provided a loving home to dogs, cats, tortoises,
and a ball python snake which she defended as a misunderstood
reptile.

She will be remembered for her fiery, and compassionate
personality, strength, and kindness. Her father was her touchstone and she went
on many adventures with her mother.

Jessica was preceded in death by her former
husband Jason Burroughs; paternal grandparents Edie and Hal Potter; and
maternal grandparents Margaret and John Vail.

She is survived by her two daughters Alaska and
Aurora Burroughs; her parents Mike and Tina Potter; former mother in law Mary
Burroughs; and former sister and brother in law, Julie and Ben Lietz.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund for her
girl’s education has been set up and can be sent to Mike and Tina Potter at 228
East 1st Street, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935.

Due to current circumstances, there will be a
private service. A celebration of her life will be held sometime in the
future.
