Joan “Joannie” M. Mitchell, 69,
of Fond du Lac, died on Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Harbor Haven.

She was born on December 31,
1949, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Jack and Mary King O’Laire. She worked at Fond du Lac Lutheran Home in
housekeeping. She enjoyed reading, word
search, bingo, playing cribbage and cards, as well as spending time with her
family and taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her
children: Jackie De Clue of Fond du Lac and Joseph (Christina) Mitchell of Fond
du Lac; three grandchildren: Tanya De Clue, Nathan Hendricks and Jaidyn
Mitchell; two step grandchildren: Jacob Wesley and Nickole Wesley; two great
grandchildren: Haylee Graf and Cooper Lucht; her sister Doris Smith of Fond du
Lac, her brother Jim (Paula) O’Laire of Old Town, Idaho, numerous nieces and
nephews, and her best friends Sharon and Bill Rhead and their son Andrew Rhead
and family of Ann Arbor, MI.

She is preceded in death by her
parents,

VISITATION: Friends may call
on Thursday, January 10, 2019, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Kurki-Mach Funeral
Chapel, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac.

FUNERAL: A memorial service
will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. at Kurki-Mach Funeral
Chapel, with Outreach Chaplain Karen Kraus officiating. Cremation has taken place.
