Jodi A. deVries

Jodi Ann deVries, 33, Menominee, MI/Green Bay, WI, passed away unexpectedly in Marinette August 13, 2018. She was born February 3, 1985 in Fond du Lac to William deVries and Suzanne Eager. Jodi was a 2003 graduate of Preble High School, Green Bay, and was employed at Joann Fabrics in Marinette. Jodi touched many hearts with her warm smile and outgoing personality. She had a passion for elephants and anything pink. She was gifted with the talents of crafting and those will be so missed by all who were lucky to receive her hand-made cards and gifts. She was also a great baker and loved to cook. She was meticulous at planning for every occasion.

She is survived by her parents, William and Suzanne; maternal grandmother, Grace Eager, Randolph; brother, Tyson, his wife Angela and children William and Sheree, Oconto; and sister, Chelsea deVries, Green Bay. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, and cousins, along with special friends, Bruce and Christi Engels and their daughter Kaitlyn.

Jodi was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Mervin Eager; and paternal grandparents, Thijs and Connie deVries.

Jodi, you will be so missed by your family and your outpouring of love to all who knew you; taken away from us way too soon.

Visitation will be Friday, August 17, 2018, at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun, WI, from 3-5pm with a service at 6pm. There will be a light lunch served after.

In lieu of flowers, we are asking that donations be made to an elephant rescue in Jodi’s name. Also, we ask if possible, to wear something pink as that was her color. Because Jodi was an organ donor, we ask that if you have not done so, please make a point to become one. Jodi’s legacy will live on because she gave of herself in more ways than one.

Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home of Waupun and staff are serving the family.  Please visit our website at www.wernerharmsenfuneralhome.com for further information and to send condolences.
