John Frank Silbernagel

John Frank Silbernagel, 83, of Milwaukee passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Froedtert West Bend Hospital. He was born in Milwaukee on August 23, 1938, the son of Frank and Lorraine (nee Keller) Silbernagel. John worked as a lithographer using his many artistic skills.  He served in the Wisconsin Air National Guard for a number of years. John enjoyed woodworking, photography, camping, the outdoors, making his yard beautiful and doing many handyman projects.

Survivors include his children James (Joanne) Silbernagel, Laura (Robert) Annis, Lisa Meekins, Mark (Adela) Silbernagel and Cheryl Silbernagel, step-children Michael Lesnik and Jennifer (Jeffrey) Lesnik McVay, grandchildren Frank, Warren, and Angela Silbernagel, Gabrielle and Logan  Annis, Joshua Meekins, Caroline and Luke Silbernagel and Ryan and Brandon  Lesnik.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sally Jo Silbernagel, sister Mary Jean Dombeck and the mother of his children Donna Mae Strupp.

Visitation for John will be Tuesday, November 9th 4:00 to 7:00 pm and Wednesday, November 10th starting at 9:30 am at St Matthew Catholic Church, 406 E. Main St. Campbellsport followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at the Church at 10:30 am.  Rev. Mark Jones will officiate and entombment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee.
