John M. Schill

John M. Schill, 78, of Campbellsport entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. He was born on September 26, 1939 in Campbellsport the son of Michael and Sophia (Puchalski) Schill. On October 9, 1965, John married LeNore M. Pierret at St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Ashford. 



John served his country in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1961 and then worked at the Gehl Company in West Bend until retiring. 



John was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Parish, the Gehl Company Hexel Bank Club and the Bintler-Waehler American Legion Post # 347 in Lomira. 



His greatest enjoyment was spending time with family and friends and watching his kids and grandkids sporting and other activities. 



Survivors include his wife of 52 years LeNore, his children Mark (Lisa) Schill of Campbellsport, JoAnne (James) Goebel of Fond du Lac and Brian (Nicole) Schill of Campbellsport, his grandchildren Tristan and Kaitlyn Schill, Kelvin, Mitchell and Carly Goebel and Madison, Gracie and Parker Schill, his siblings Marilyn Thanos, Richard (Myrtle) Schill, Rosanne Schill Uelmen, Carol (Ron) Moore, Patricia (Gary) Schwartz, Michael Schill, Thomas (Lydia) Schill and David (Laurie) Schill, his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Bernadette and Gene Fleischman, Dianne and Darwin Lohse, Beverly and Mark Hefter and Gordon and Lori Pierret, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 



John was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws Alois and Lucille Pierret, his brothers-in-law Charles Thanos, Harold “Jim” Uelmen and David Mielke and his Goddaughter Diana Banaszynski. 



A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 14th at 7:00 PM at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 406 E. Main Street, Campbellsport. 



Rev. Mark Jones will officiate and burial will be Tuesday at 10:00 AM in the parish cemetery. 



Visitation will be Monday, May 14th from 3:00 PM until time of Mass at the Church. 



In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Matthew Parish or the Hospice Home of Hope.
