John W. Neumann Jr.

     John W. Neumann Jr, 75,
of Log Tavern Road, Mount Calvary died on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Hospice
Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.   

     He was born October 23,
1943 in Illinois, the son of John W. and June (McLain) Neumann.

     On September 24, 1965
John was wed to Sue Ann Palkovich in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.  Sue proceeded him in death May 25, 2015. 

     Mr. Neumann graduated
from St Mary’s Springs in 1962.  Following
graduation, John enlisted and served with the Army Reserves.   

     John spent his working
career with the family owned business, RB Royal Industries (initially Royal
Brass Inc.). He served as the Company President and ultimately CEO until his
time of retirement.  John was very active
in our community.  He shared a great
devotion and generosity to Fond du Lac.  He
was a member of the Elks, Evening Optimist, and The Kentucky Colonels.

     John had a love for aviation.  He obtained his private pilot’s license with
an instrument rating and enjoyed attending the EAA.  He was an avid outdoorsman including hunting
and fishing.  John had a deep passion for
land conservation.  Some of his greatest enjoyment
came from developing his land with trees, ponds, and the animals that shared
the acreage.

    John’s greatest
commitment in life was to that of his family. 
He held a deep, close connection with them.  His happiest moments were those spent with his
wife, children and grandchildren.  Survivors
include four children; Andrew J. Neumann (Mary Berenz), John (Jay) W. Neumann IV
(Mary Jo Neumann), Laura L. Jagdfeld (Fred Jagfeld), Daniel J. Neumann (Tony
Chavez).  Four grandchildren; Adria Church,
John W. Neumann V, Joseph A. Neumann, Alyssia G. Jagdfeld, and Hunter L.
Jagdfeld.  Two great-grandchildren; Audrey
Strook, and Carter Strook. 

     Preceding him in death
were his beloved wife Sue; sister Nancy Scheid, and parents.

Visitation:
A
memorial gathering will be held SATURDAY, JANUARY 26th from 1 to 4
pm at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division Street in Fond du Lac. Military
Honors will be held at 4:00 PM.

     In lieu of flowers, a
memorial has been established in Mr. Neumann’s name.
