Joseph A. Wegner

Joseph A.
Wegner, 24, of Van Dyne, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 as a result of a
motor vehicle accident.  Joseph was born
on February 6, 1992 in Fond du Lac, a son of Elton and Elaine (Kohlman) Wegner.

Joseph
attended FACES for his elementary education and then St. Mary’s Springs
Academy.  He was presently employed with
Badger State Auto Auction as a truck driver. 
Joseph also had his own small business, Ridge Road Unlimited LLC. 

He enjoyed
hunting, fishing, fixing, buying and selling just about anything. He was all
about trucks and gun collecting.  Joseph
was an avid lover of World War II history. 
He loved his time with his girlfriend, Devon Mickus, and her family
while helping on their horse farm, and also going to demo derbies.  Joseph was very much into helping anyone he
could. 

Joseph is
survived by his parents, Elton and Elaine; one sister, Tracy (Mike) Kniess; girlfriend
Devon Mickus, special friends, Justin, Jake, Cory, Matt and Aaron; other
relatives and many friends.

Preceding
him in death are his grandparents, David and Eva Wegner, Mary and Joseph
Kohlman. 

Visitation: 
His family will receive relatives and friends at the Zacherl Funeral
Home, 875 E. Division St., Fond du Lac on Friday, July 8, 2016 from 4:00 until
7:00 PM.  There is also a visitation at
the funeral home on Saturday, July 9, from 9:00 until 9:45 AM.

Service: 
At 10:30 AM on Saturday, July 9, 2016, a Mass of Christian Burial will
be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 200 S. Peters Avenue, Fond du
Lac.  Cremation will follow this service.
