Julia F. Huberty

Julia F Huberty, 102, died peacefully on March 18′ 2021 at Villa Loretto where she was living for the past seven months.

She was born July 26, 1918 in North Fond du Lac, the daughter of Thomas Chopski and Johanna Juanitas Chopski.

She married Edmund Huberty at Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac October 26,

1938.

She was employed for 35 years at Merwin ‘ s Wo men ‘ s Apparel in Fond du Lac, retiring at the age of 70.

Julia had a great deal of talent and she filled her retirement years with oil painting, playing the keyboard, knitting slippers, mittens, and lap robes, and baking goodies for friends and relatives. Her later years were further enriched when at the age of 91 she adopted a kitten living under her porch. ” Puddy Cat’ become her constant and much loved companion.

Surviving are a daughter, Joanne White, and a son, Alan Huberty, both of Fond du Lac; grandchildren, Kim White of Milwaukee, Heather White of Minneapolis, Kelley White of Kernersville NC, Kari (Brian) Bodoh of Oshkosh and David (Amy) Huberty of Oshkosh; great grandchildren Andrew, Shane and Colby White all of North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, her sister Bernice Frimark, and brothers Victor Chopski and Edward Chopski and their respective spouses. Also preceding her were brothers in law, Arthur, Ralph, Jerome, and Frances Huberty and sisters in law Elenore Melvin, Anna Morgan, Irene Peters, and Leone Robinson and their respective spouses.

There will be a private internment at Calvary Cemetery.
