Julie Ann Brajdic

Julie Ann Brajdic, affectionately known as “Mrs. B”, 70 formerly of Pheasant Drive, Fond du Lac, passed away October 26, 2013 at the Woodland Assisted Living Center, with her loving family at her side.

She was born September 13, 1943 in Fond du Lac, a daughter of the late Eugene and Edna Schiller Lallier.

Julie was a graduate of St. Mary’s Springs Academy class of 1961.

On December 9, 1961 she married Ron Brajdic at St. Joseph’s Rectory, Fond du Lac.

During her youth Julie was employed by Larson Photography.

Julie was a member of Holy Family Parish and attended St. Joseph’s Church where she served where she was a member and past president of the church’s’ Altar Society. During her years as a domestic engineer, carpooling her children and their friends was a full time task. Mrs. B served as a Girl Scout Leader and as an auxiliary member of the St. Mary’s Springs Fathers Club, where she and Ron were responsible for concession stand operations for nearly 20 years.  She also was an active volunteer with Loaves and Fishes.

In 1983 Julie and Ron purchased the A & W Dive Inn in 1983. She enjoyed several years of ownership and service to her many customers, employees and friends. Julie enjoyed walking, bowling, fishing, playing cards and the time spent at the cottage. Her pets were cherished. Holidays were a special time for friends and family to gather. She was a “do it all person” never afraid to tackle any project.

Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Ron, three sons, Gregg (Debi) Brajdic of Onalaska, WI, Gary Brajdic of Fond du Lac, and Jim (Debbie) Brajdic and her children Rodney and Sarah of Fond du Lac, a daughter Dawn (Travis) Smyre of Sydney, Australia, a granddaughter, Kattlyn (Joel) Yardracck of Menasha, and by other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Janet an infant brother, Leon Lallier, and cousins, David (Deke) Lallier and John Lallier, who were raised in the same house.

Visitation: The family will greet relatives and friends at the Zacherl Funeral Home on Monday October 28, 2013, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Visitation will also be held Tuesday at Holy Family Parish Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, 10:00 AM at Holy Family Parish Church. Rev. Ryan Preuss will officiate. Burial will follow in the Rienzi Cemetery. Memorials in her name may be directed to the South Eastern Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Association, 620 South 76th Street, Suite 160 Milwaukee, WI, 53214.
