Kathleen A. Roesselet

Kathleen Ann “Kathy” Roesselet, age 77, of Plymouth, died on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital in Sheboygan.  She was born October 15, 1940 in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Paul Kleinert & Frances Theresa (Fischer) Nielsen.  She graduated from Rufus King High School in Milwaukee, class of 1958 and married Werner Jon Roesselet on June 11, 1960 at St. Marcus Church in Milwaukee.

Kathy was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Sheboygan where her love of music was expressed through her voice in the church choir.

In earlier years, Kathy enjoyed bowling and even gave bowling lessons to the youth in her community.  She also enjoyed time spent fishing and even had a current fishing license with anticipation of warmer weather and walleyes on the line.

Kathy had a passion for crafts and creating things by her own hand.  She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and painting the many wooden crafts made by her husband.   She was a terrific baker, making some of the most delectable cookies, pastries and jams which she entered into competition at the county fair every year.

Kathy was a woman of love, always giving of herself to make other people around her happy.  She was forever quick with a smile or a kind word and made sure to offer a hug to everyone she saw.  She will forever be remembered and greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband: Werner; her children: Kevin Roesselet, Bryon (Marina) Roesselet, Amy (Mark) Zwick; her grandchildren: Caleb & Aaron Roesselet, Peter & Katrina Roesselet, Quinn, Zoe & Vaughn Zwick; a great grandchild: Delilah Roesselet; a sister: Louise Pflughoeft; and her sisters-in-law: Jackie Nielsen, Elaine Nielsen & Barb (Roy) Heinrich.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings: Richard & Robert Nielsen and Trudy Ponik.

Funeral service will be at 11:30 am on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at Calvary Lutheran Church (2132 N 27th St.) in Sheboygan with Rev. R. Styx officiating.  Friends may call at the church from 9:30 am until 11:15 am on Wednesday, April 18, 2018.
