Kay L. Ebert

Kay L. Ebert, 66, of Fond du Lac, died on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at St. Agnes Hospital.

She was born on November 3, 1955, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Norman and Jane Weber Henke.  Kay was baptized at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Eldorado.  On June 13, 1981, she married Charles D. Ebert, at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, in Fond du Lac.

Kay went to cosmetology school and later went to MPTC for which she received a degree in Early Childhood.  She worked in early childhood for 26 years, retiring from Jesus Little Lambs at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.  Kay was a member of Faith Ev. Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers and needle point.

She is survived by her husband Charles D. Ebert of Fond du Lac, her sister: Carol (James) Hounsell, her brothers-in-law: Harold (Mary) Ebert, Alvin (Lisa) Ebert, Thomas Ebert, Glenn (Annette) Ebert, Mark (Patricia) Ebert and David (Nancy) Cronce; her sisters-in-law: Donna (Don) Lepsch, June (Steve) Marquardt and Gail (Tim) Zorn, her Godchildren: Crystal (Scott) Krenke, Brenda (Rodney) Juedes, Mathew (Courtney) Hounsell, Victor Wood, Heather Juedes and Heidi Juedes, and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her mother and father-in-law: Harold and Iona Ebert, her siblings: Shirley Cronce and David (Kathleen) Henke and her nephew, Justin T. Zorn

VISITATION: The family will greet friends from 9:30 – 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, 55 Prairie Road, Fond du Lac.

SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, with Rev. Michael Weigand officiating.  Burial to follow at Ledgeview Memorial Park.
