L. Marie Sabish,

L. Marie Sabish, 94, of Campbellsport went to her heavenly home on Sat. Jan. 10, 2015. She was born in the Town of Osceola on Jan. 23, 1920 the daughter of the late Samuel and Lorena (nee Majerus) Gudex. On May 2, 1942, Marie married Christ Sabish. She worked at Regalware for 15 years and then for the Village of Campbellsport for many years. She was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church, the Kettle Moraine VFW Auxiliary where she served as chaplain, the Bintzler-Waehler American Legion Auiliary in Lomira, the Campbellsport Senior Citizens and the Purple Heart Auxiliary. Marie was an avid baseball and softball fan watching many of her sons’ and grandchildren’s games. Marie was a great lady and will be missed by all. 



Those left behind to cherish her memory include her sons Jim (Sharon) of Eau Claire, Ronald (Darlene) of Campbellsport, Larry of Kewaskum and Dan (Ann) of Campbellsport, 16 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, her sister Johanna Runge of Fond du Lac, her brothers Sam (Beatrice) Gudex of Campbellsport and Norman Gudex of West Bend, her sisters-in-law Agnes Sabish of Fond du Lac and Lou Ann Gudex of Campbellsport, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Marie was preceded by her husband Christ in 1974, twin daughters Elaine and Eileen, grandchildren Jeff, Michelle and David, her sister Viola Gellings and her brothers Loren Gudex and John Gudex 



A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wed. Jan. 14th at 2:00 PM at St. Matthew’s Church, 406 E. Main St. Campbellsport, with visitation from 11:00 AM until time of mass at the church. Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and burial will follow in St. Matthews Cemetery.
