Leo A. Muellenbach

Leo A. Muellenbach, 92, of Fond du Lac,
passed away on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.  He was born on November 13, 1923 in Fond du
Lac, a son to the late Anton and Mary Donaubauer Muellenbach.

On April 3, 1948, Leo married Fern Olson at
St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. 
She preceded him in death on July 16, 1960.

Leo was engaged in farming until his wife’s
death.  He was then employed by Fond du
Lac Concrete Products for 5 years and later by Regal Ware of Kewaskum until his
retirement in 1985.

Leo is a member of Holy Family Parish, St.
Mary’s and the St. Joseph Society.

Survivors include two daughters, Helen
(Robert) Wittkop of Eden and Leona (Kenny) Dins of Tempe, AZ; three sons, David
(Pam) Muellenbach of Maryville, WA, Robert (Karen) Muellenbach, and Steven
Muellenbach both of Campbellsport; grandchildren, Scott (fiancé, Heather Yale)
Ludwig, Shelly Ludwig, Lance Wittkop, Christopher Muellenbach, Rachel (Chris)
Kind, Crystal Dins, Mary (Kraig) Binversie, Barbie Muellenbach, Jeremy
Muellenbach, Jennifer (Tyler) Schaefer, and Steven (fiancé, Stephanie Wood)
Muellenbach; 13 great grandchildren; and his twin sister, Leona Hass of Fond du
Lac.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Fern,
two sisters, Alice (John) Costello and Angeline (Gib) Fischer, one
brother-in-law, Gordon Hass and one granddaughter-in-law, Megan Muellenbach.

Visitation: 
Leo’s family will welcome relatives and friends at Zacherl Funeral Home,
875 E. Division St., Fond du Lac on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00
PM, and again on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at the funeral home from 10:00 to
10:45 AM. 

Service: A funeral service will follow
visitation at Zacherl Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 11:00 AM.  Rev. Dean Desilet will officiate.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials in Leo’s name may be directed to the
family.

The
family would like to thank the staff at Lutheran Home and Health Services,
especially the activities staff that allowed Leo to have many fun experiences,
the doctors, nurses and staff at Agnesian Hospice Hope, and the staff at St.
Agnes Hospital for their compassionate care of Leo.
