Leslie Rose (Immel) Smith

On Monday, December 9, 2013 at St. John’s Hospital Leslie
Rose (Immel) Smith, 30, of Springfield, Illinois passed away peacefully with
her family by her side.  She joined her
guardian angel and daughter Jocelyn Rose who preceded her on February 5, 2012. She
fought a courageous two-year battle with ovarian cancer.

Born on October 7, 1983, she is the eldest daughter of Rick
and Jayne (Mueller) Immel in Fond du Lac, WI.

On August 22, 2009 she married the love of her life
Christopher Smith in Fond du Lac in her parent’s beautiful backyard garden.

Leslie graduated from Fond du Lac High School in 2002 and
then continued on to receive a Cosmetology Certificate from MPTC in Fond du
Lac.

She truly enjoyed being around the people she loved,
watching Packer football and Chicago Blackhawks hockey.  She also enjoyed spending time at home
working on craft projects and puzzles.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher, parents Rick &
Jayne, sister, brother-in-law & niece Jaime, Chad & Claire Gunderson,
mother and father-in-law Edward and JoAnne Smith of Roscoe, IL, sister-in-law, brother-in-law
& nephew, Bridget, Ryan & Liam Monette, sister-in-law Mary Smith,
godparents Bob & Barb Hettwer, grandparents Charlotte & Earl Morgan,
grandparents-in-law Terrence & Joan Lyons and many aunts, uncles, cousins
and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jocelyn Rose,
grandparents Earl & Gloria Mueller, Raymond “Bud” Immel and cousins Aaron
Buslaff & Jeffrey Merrill.

Visitation:
Family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, December 13, 2013 from
4:00 to 8:00 PM at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac,
WI 54935.  There is no visitation on
Saturday.

Services: A Mass
of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Shepherd
of the Hills Catholic Parish, W1562 County Road B, Eden, 53019.  Burial will follow in the Forest Cemetery.
